Laguito Apartments Only 1. The minimum daily charge for an apt is 100,000 pesos plus. The apartment prices vary depending on:
• which apartment you choose • whether you book one bedroom or two • how many days you rent the apartment • high season or low season
Please contact us with your dates and your apartment preference. If your apartment preference is available, we will then inform you of the price. Once the price has been agreed, it will not change for those dates. There are no additional tax charges on top of the agreed price.
2. A two-bedroom apartment can be rented at a one-bedroom apartment rate if you ask the manager. The manager will lock one bedroom and bathroom, leaving the guest the use of the remainder of the apartment. 3. To reserve an apartment, renters have two options:
(A) Pay a deposit of USD $200 for short bookings and a larger amount (as determined by the managers) for longer term bookings. The deposit can be paid by Paypal and will be refunded to your Paypal account after a quick inspection of the apartment upon check-out, if there is no damage or missing items in the apartment. Renters will then be required to pay the rent in full and in cash upon arrival.
(B) Renters also have the option of paying the rent in full prior to arrival in Cartagena via Paypal. This would be IN ADDITION to the deposit, this option though we would need to add 10% to the rental price. As with the first option, deposits will be refunded to your Paypal account after a quick inspection of the apartment upon check-out , if there is no damage or missing items in the apartment.
Please contact the managers (David) for information or clarification regarding the Paypal deposits. NOTE Paypal charges fees for cross border transactions & sometimes charges a fee to rebate money to a client, any fees that paypal charge will be taken out of the clients rebate money.
4. You can arrange for the apt to be cleaned and the sheets and towels changed as often as you wish, but this will cost an additional 15,000-20,000 pesos each time, depending on which apartment.
5. Some buildings charge 5,000-10,000 pesos when a new guest arrives; this is due to some tourists and their guests causing damage in the communal areas. This money goes towards the maintenance of the building and is outside the apartment manager's control.
